The beds were ok. Maid's were friendly.
They let Smokers there and the hallways smelled like a bad butt can The room was not ready at 2:45 when we got there. Our room screen was broken. (Rm # 210)...We noticed that the main hallway windows needed a thorough cleaning, and the outside landscaping would have looked much better if at least the weeds had been pulled, and a few pretty flowers or shrubs planted. The continental breakfast was ok; but, as a tea drinker, I was disappointed to have found only one variety. Also, our whole family was surprised that pitchers of cold ice water were not provided, and guests were expected to drink tap water...this is ok at home, but in a hotel, we usually expect better provisions! One last thing, the customer service desk clerk, while friendly, did not seem quite as interested in waiting on us, as she did in watching her movie.
The Travelodge was very close to downtown and easily found from I-5. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. There was a new television and free Wifi was available.
This particular Travelodge was old and tired. The room, while relatively clean, was dated. The beds were not that comfortable. The air conditioner was noisy.
Location and price ...just off the freeway I-5 so it was very convenient.
The room was clean but threadbare ... in fact, all carpets throughout the hotel are in dire need of replacement. We went to breakfast 1/2 before closing and nothing was left!!
The room on june 12 was filthy and our return trip for June 16 was charged and we never got to use the room as we were delayed out of Las Vegas till after 12:30am arr. At 4am. Next day. I contacted them and they refused to credit back the money they stole. I had no way of contacting the hotel while we were stuck at Las Vegas airport by a delayed flight. They do not understand customer service. Charged for a room that was never used by a situation beyond my control. Please send a travel voucher for another travel lodge would help.
Location only It had very dirty walls , carpets and bedspread with worn out as well as furniture. Would not recommend this Travel Lodge and Travel Lodge is normaly our 1st choice. Please credit this room .Thank you for the surveyBill and Holy Stroomer
It was the right price for my frugal husband and the room was very clean. It is in a good location right off of the freeway and close to the downtown. It worked for us as we only needed "a bed" for the night on our way home.
Our room was small, but the bathroom was big. The whole place could use a remodel. In response to the next question, I probably would not recommend it because most of my friends stay in 4 star locations.
Beds very uncomfortable! Left with clothes smelling of smoke even though we were in a non-smoking room. Doors slamming all night.
The desk clerk tooks my bags up the 2 flights of stairs. I would not have been able to do this.
Lobby spelled of cigarettes, no elevator, have stayed in better for price.
Good location. In walking distance to downtown Bellingham (approx. 15 - 20 min.). Very good Hwy access. Inexpensive accommodation. The queenbed was very comfortable.
Room and bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Breakfast was very basic.
convience and price
the room was unheated upon arrival and seemed unduly dank...but after the heat was turned it was fine
It was cozy and located in the right area.
I had no complaints and would stay again.
We paid $56 per day and so, it was the best bang for our buck. It was basically a shopping trip and we needed a place to crash for the night.
We stayed in a non-smoking room but the hallways always smelled like smoke. Also, our room had a broken lock which if you didn't close the door properly it will still be able to open if you turned the handle.
The staff was helpful when ask. I felt safe at the motel. It was not nosie or dirty.
The property feels out and needs a face lift. Carpets are stained. Walls were badly patched. The breakfest was not well layed out and at the lower end of what I am use to. I am use to staying at $100 to $120 per night motels. THe Bellingham lodge was on and lower cost but I will go back to booking $100/night rooms.
close to western washington campus.
bathroom smelled like pee. had to keep bathroom door closed.
room was very small and badly in need of an update
